The fit of the lower half of the stock is great. Barrel and trigger group dropped right in. The top half had a bit of an upswept bow. It didn’t prevent the install but it took a little extra holding to get the screws in. End result is a fine looking fire arm.

I had a 1947 Spanish Mauser that someone had Sporterized it had a 1022 rear sight on it and no way to mount a scope. This stock not only was easy to mount a scope on but was also very easy to install my rifle in . It is alittle heavy at 10 # but it helped to manage recoil and has made a rifle I hardly ever shot into one that is great to shoot!

I bought this stock for my 1940 German Mouser 98K from a auction at gun store that was going out of business. Got a great deal. Didnt have the instructions with it and I thought was missing some parts. So I reached out to customer service at ATI and the responded real fast. They sent me the instruction with the material list. So BIG SHOUT OUT TO TROY DROESE in customer service…as far as I figured they didn’t have to do anything seeing as how I bought from an auction. Anyways, install went pretty slick. Didnt have to make any alterations at all. Fit and finish was really nice. I will be taking it to the range and testing it as soon as my scope arrives. I plan on buying more stuff from ATI now. Note: the screws for the front can be a small issue. I had to grind one down about an 8th of an inch to keep it from popping out the top of the forstock. Troy I hope you get a raise my friend.
